I got some news today. It makes my heart ache. I can't wipe it from my mind. It's following me from room to room as I try to find things to keep me busy. I can't really talk about it because it's new and it's not my news to tell. It does have to do with infidelity, breaking of hearts, breaking of a family, and the internet. Now as much as I love my fb and my blogging and the ability to find out information at the tip of my fingers at any time....I DO see the danger of being able to connect so easily. It's easy to find WHATEVER you are looking for and sometimes find things you didn't intend to look for. As human beings we need to tap into our moral code at all times to keep ourselves in check. Technology is making it easier for us to slip into an internet haze. We forget the real world and start to live in the one created by machines and our imagination. It's so sad to be witness to this heartbreaking situation that seems to be affecting more and more people. That's about all I muster at this moment. I'm still processing! Be kind to each other people! And THINK before you type! ;)
Well said! I could actually set up a blog dedicated to the subject...although I think it would get old pretty fast, so anyhoo...I distract myself with washing my floors and baking banana bread instead. the kids are happy I put choc chips in one loaf, hoping it will taste like yours:)
